Día de Muertos Dinner in Oaxaca

Hands-On Cooking Evening

Yes! You and Us are going to prepare a delicious dinner in Santa María Atzompa in a private space surrounded by a clay workshop and their art, and a warm family environment.

With a view of the mountains, let’s make tamales and fill them with mole, salsas, beans, cheese, flowers, and Hierba Santa leaves. A sip of mezcal is also considered to honor our beloved ones and our tradition.

Welcome to Oaxaca. We are delighted to welcome you to a cozy, traditional setting rich in culture, art, and tradition. Día de Muertos is special to us. Cooking is sharing, nurturing the soul and the body. Food brings us together to honor our beloved ones who have already transcended; we remember our times together with joy while we sip mezcal and eat delicious tamales.

The Menu

We’re going to prepare tamales with Mole & chicken, Quesillo (Cheese native to Oaxaca), Flor de Calabaza (Squash Blossoms), Chepil, Frijol with Hierba Santa. To help them go down, Hot Chocolate and Champurrado. And of course, a toast with mezcal.

Join Us to an Evening of Tradition and a Delicious Dinner Making with an amazing view of the mountains.
